A comprehensive program designed to maximise the benefits of both calisthenics and swimming, with built-in variety to motivate you and develop your overall fitness!
Our philosophy is simple: long-term overall fitness must be rooted in your body’s natural movement, and must be varied and challenging enough to keep you motivated along your journey!

COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program is for people who want a naturally athletic and healthy physique. If you want the bulky body builder look, thanks for your time, but please go elsewhere. We’re building functional bodies here.
By combining the natural body movements of calisthenics and swimming, we have designed a unique program to give you double the health benefits. These two forms of exercise complement each other perfectly to build a long-lasting and naturally healthy body. This is a down-to-earth program with your health at its heart.

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS COMBINED WITH SWIMMING
THE WORKOUT STRUCTURE
Our individually-tailored workouts are built around you. They are 1:1 sessions with a personal trainer. They typically last 1 hour and start on dry land with a dynamic warm-up, then a 15 minute circuit of different exercises, followed by a short burnout session of various reps and sets focussing on a particular muscle group each day. Swimming will either be incorporated during the cool-down part of the session, or during the main workout on certain days.
If you are not a confident swimmer, don’t worry! We are expert swimming instructors with 15 years’ experience. The pool is not deep and we will choose whatever exercises are right for you.
WHY SWIMMING AND CALISTHENICS?
When the pandemic hit in 2020 and all the pools shut, I was introduced to calisthenics for the first time. Even though I’d always been into fitness and spent my life working in and around gyms and leisure centres, calisthenics was a discovery for me. I realised that, although weight training is efficient, the bulking process involved when lifting weights can negatively impact mobility and flexibility. By combining calisthenics with swimming, you have a powerful whole-body workout program that gets long-lasting results!

- Day 3: Calisthenics, 1-hour session
This program is 100% bodyweight only. You will not use a single weight. However, you will have access to a pull-up bar for some days and a beautiful 25-metre swimming pool. The swimming pool is both wide and deep enough for leisure and lane swimming.
Please note, there is no step free access to the swimming pool.

WHO CAN DO THIS PROGRAM?
Beginners are welcome; no prior knowledge of either sport is needed.
Anyone aged 18 to 65, the program will be adapted exclusively to your abilities.
