Intro to Swimming: Advanced Beginner
That stage where you aren’t scared of swimming in deep water, you can float, lie on your front and back, swim well enough to get you from A to B, and ultimately understand the basics and nature of this sport.
That stage where, when someone asks you how good you are at swimming, you respond with: “Hm… I’m okay…”.
What you’re trying to improve is your technique in all four strokes, and get to a more smooth, fluid, relaxed and consistent level of swimming.
Before you move forward with this program, I want to tell you that I drafted this program myself, as an experienced swimming coach who has spent thousands of hours of teaching people of all levels.
While you’ll find many people selling programs on the internet, many swimming and fitness apps and many Youtube video explanations on how to improve your swimming technique, this program is different. Here, I offer personalised plans to get you to your specific goal.
I’ve outlined an Advanced Beginner program precisely as I would for my regular swimming lessons with clients in my local pool, which can be tailored to suit you.
In this program, I go through all the most common mistakes that beginner swimmers do, what works and what doesn’t.
